Kenya and Nearby

Pamela'a links with Kenya, and the neighbouring countries of Uganda and Tanzania, came partly through David Mutua and partly through Minciu Sodas especially the Pyramid of Peace during post election violence in Kenya in 2008.

Most of the connections with "Kenya and nearby" that have happened online have been outside the dadamac.net space (in personal emails, via posterous, or in various online groups). At time of writing, April 2012, we are exploring appropriate ways to start  including more of our "Kenya and Nearby" contacts and initiatives here at Dadamac.net.

It will take time before they start to show up, but some glimpses can be found in the archives of First Thursdays (especially when Ramdhan Chatta, Samwel Kongere, or Ken Owino have joined the conversation) or by checking through the posterous archives collected up each month for the Dadamac Digest.
