Following the April 2011 post-elections violence in Kafanchan, Nigeria, we are supporting appeals which will address the immediate humanitarian crisis and the longer term peace building initiative namely The Kafanchan Peace Market.( For more about this please read Nikki's blog)
We will assume donations should be used for that work unless you send us an email giving dome other direction for your donation. See Post election violence update from North Central Nigeria.
Helping in other ways
We need people to help us raise the profile of these projects. We also need volunteers to do online work for us.
You can give your time in various ways (from the comfort of your home if that suits you best, or in other ways). You will become part of a vibrant, diverse and interesting community where you really can make a difference. Please contact us for more details. We need help of many kinds including:
- Sharing news (online and offline) about what we do
- Online research of various kinds
- Raising money
- Administration
- Technical support
The short video below introduces Fanstuam Foundation - source of many projects that we care about. We also give some support to other projects that we know personally.
