Dadamac

Collaboration, Education, Livelihoods and Development in a Changing World

Dadamac

Dadamac introduces people and helps them to do useful stuff together - in whatever way suits them best. What would suit you?

Based on reality and practical experience

Our feet are planted firmly "on the ground" - in Africa through John Dada and in the UK through Pamela McLean and Nikki Fishman. We are equally strongly "in the cloud" - as our communication, administration, and team meetings are all Internet based. We know first hand about grass roots realities and online collaboration practicalities through years of experience (working together since 2004, and separately for years previously).

Organsiational strutures that fit your apporach

Dadamac has four organisational structures, so that you can relate to us in a way that is most appropriate to your own interests and needs.

Dadamac grew through friendships and shared interests. It draws on a large informal network of trust, knowledge, and goodwill - loosely described as "the Dadamac Community".

At Dadamac:

  • Theory meets practice
  • Online meets "on-the-gound"
  • Social meets technical
  • Content meets users
  • Practical problems meet creative ideas
  • Creative ideas meet reality
  • Policy makers meet those they serve
  • Philanthropists meet needs
  • Volunteers meet projects
  • Researchers meet information
  • Developers meet field testing
  • The list could continue......

Most importantly - people meet people (often from very different cultural backgrounds). Through Dadamac we work or learn together, face-to-face or online. To join us - or to hire us - or to simpy find out more: contact us in the UK by emailing nicola.fishman@dadamac.net or pamela.mclean@dadamac.net
